Biome Active Face Oil is a replenishing daily treatment featuring 12% THD Ascorbate — a stable and highly effective form of Vitamin C that offers powerful antioxidant protection, promotes collagen synthesis, and helps to brighten and even skin tone. THD Ascorbate is the most expensive form of Vitamin C on the market due to its stability and efficacy. It is studied to be up to 50% more effective in producing collagen and penetrate the skin 3 times better than traditional L-Ascorbic Acid.
Designed to brighten, protect and revitalise, this formula is enriched with our own bio-fermented Kakadu Plum (Also known as Gubinge has one of the highest recorded concentrations of natural Vitamin C in the world) for an extra boost of antioxidant power. It also contains a luxurious selection of cold-pressed, organic oils rich in essential vitamins, antioxidants, and phyto-retinols to deliver maximum nutrition to the skin.
KEY ACTIVES:
12% THD Ascorbate (stable, slow release Vitamin C) : Poets Atelier sources the purest form of THD Ascorbate crafted from Japan, known to be gold standard in Vitamin C. Also known as Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, it is exceptionally stable - penetrating the skin up to 3x more efficiently and up to 50% more effective in stimulating collagen production compared to traditional Vitamin C. It remains active on the skin up to 40hrs after application.(Increasing the percentage beyond this threshold does not enhance results significantly - but increases the risk of unnecessary irritation, especially for sensitive skin.)
